Cold Waters Russian Subs Mod Bugs Bunny

Changelogs
  • Version 2.02

    • Fixed an issue with vanilla force greet AI packages not functioning properly, which could result in broken quests.
Fixed an issue where NPCs with a filled head slot would still sometimes be forced to equip fur hoods.
Fixed an issue where Soggy Feet could become stuck on the player after swimming indoors. Disabling the mod, exiting the menus, re-enabling should now also remove it.
  • Version 2.01

    • All new items from 2.0 now have proper world models and have been adjusted to avoid clipping if needed.
Added multiple color variations of Big Leather Backpack as part of Survival Gear.
Re-integrated Fur Hoods HD as part of Cold Gear.
Children now have access to three different types of fur hoods.
Fixed an issue where linen cloaks weren't being added to leveled lists if enabled.
Fixed an issue where rain cloaks weren't getting checked against a list of heavily clipping armor before applying.
  • Version 2.0

    • Wet and Cold has been largely rebuilt to utilize more resource-efficient techniques.
The cloak spell, used to distribute all these effects to NPCs, has been replaced with a quest and alias system, which provides more control over the number and type of NPCs affected by this mod. It also makes it easier to keep effects from polling on NPCs unless the conditions are right thereby reducing resource consumption.
In an effort to streamline the mod, the following features have been removed: heat source detection, steam effect, snowshoes and umbrellas.
Added new rain cloaks, fur cloaks and fur hoods created specifically for Wet and Cold by volvaga0. Fur Hoods HD removed.
Added option to add equipment to leveled lists. There is a chance you will be able to encounter items specific to and distributed by Wet and Cold at general goods merchants and inside house containers.
Added a summer mode that disables all cold-related features.
Face Cover slots no longer use the circlet slot and instead use slot 44. They should also be more commonly worn in the cold.
Monk hoods have been made playable and can now be seen worn by NPCs as part of Rain Gear.
Alternate fur-lined mage hoods have been made playable and can now be seen worn by NPCs as part of Cold Gear.
Sabre Gear and Frankdema backpacks removed. Wet and Cold will now distribute Campfire's backpacks if Campfire is installed.
All knapsacks have been repositioned lower on the body.
Go Home: Should no longer bug out and force NPCs to stay indoors indefinitely. NPCs will also now have dialogue options indicating that they're under the effects of Go Home.
      Snowy effect brightness reduced.
Cloak equipment now checks against a list of heavily clipping armor before applying.
Incorporated patch from Extensible Follower Framework Compatibility Collection.
Wet and Cold - Holidays is no longer supported and is now its own standalone mod.
Added support for CCOR Winter is Coming and Cloaks of Skyrim items.
Made many other minor tweaks and fixes.
  • Version 1.422

  • Version 1.231

    • Removed debug notifications.
      1.23:
Save game load initialization optimized and now starts up over a short period of time to avoid overloading your game. A few options may have been reset. Double check your MCM/icicle settings.
Drip effect is now more visible.
Mountains NE of Riften are now considered cold.
NPCs will no longer equip Survival Gear in Sovngarde. Alik'r Warriors and Vigilants of Stendarr no longer equip snowshoes.

Attempted to reduce papyrus log errors again.
      Cold breath script optimizations.
  • Version 1.121

    • Now available on Steam.
    • The drip effect should now only disable itself once if Frostfall is installed.

Renamed Xvision Children Hat Meshes option to Modded Children Hat Meshes as they can be used for any child overhaul mod including RS Children Overhaul.
      Further optimized scripting.
  • Version 1.41

    • Significantly reduced memory footprint of all features. If updating from a previous version there will be many papyrus log errors. These will never show up again after making a save.
Fixed an issue where the eye blur effect could become stuck on screen.
  • Version 1.40

    • Added support for Wet and Cold - Holidays and iNeed - Food, Water and Sleep.
Survival Gear: 'Frostfall Items' renamed to 'Mod-Added Items'. Only axes from Frostfall are distributed until Frostfall 2.6.
Users of winter overhauls will now have to manually enable Winter Overhaul Mode through the MCM under the System tab.
NPCs will now immediately remove rain/cold/ash gear instead of waiting a random time to unequip them. This change was made to simplify the features, which in turn reduces script load and the chance that equipment becomes stuck to the NPC.
Cold breaths now use a higher res texture. Made several minor tweaks to breath volume and brightness. Eliminated most papyrus log errors and optimized scripting.
Added 3 fur hood, 2 glove, 1 snowshoe and 1 fur backpack color variations.
Common fur hoods from Winter Is Coming are now also distributed to NPCs.
1024x1024 fur cloak textures switched into archive. 2048x2048 is now the optional installation.
Go Home is now disabled in Winterhold.
All blindness effects now work with Immersive First Person View but now apply even when in 3rd person. Users who play in 3rd person can simply disable the features.
Hiring/recruiting an NPC under the effects of Go Home will now disable the Go Home AI package on them.
Added missing item pick up/put down sound effects to several items from this mod.
Imperials and Stormcloaks are now exempt from Survival Gear to reduce system load during large scale skirmishes.
NPCs can have the keyword 'WerewolfCeremony' added directly to them to permanently exempt them from the equipment features.
Made minor adjustments to the Go Home AI packages to improve sandbox behavior.
  • Version 1.32

    • Children will now equip their own fur hoods when it gets cold as part of Cold Gear. An Xvision Children compatible hood mesh is available under optional files.
Added support for Seasons of Skyrim Project. If the winter plugin is installed, all of Skyrim will be considered cold.
NPCs will now equip gear immediately instead of waiting for a LOS loss if far enough away.
Dark Brotherhood members are now exempt from Survival Gear.
Added a slight yellowish tint to the grey traveler fur cloak.
Slightly reduced size of drips and opacity of the underwater skin effect.
Added extra precautions to ensure the player can't get stuck with the breath effect.
Converted Soggy Feet sounds from 44 khz to 22 khz to reduce memory use.
Created a new magic effect for the carry weight backpack enchantment to avoid conflicts with enchanting mods.
Creatures that live in the water are no longer affected by this mod.
Added performance option to have this mod completely ignore all creatures.
  • Version 1.31

    • Reviewed all scripts, removed any unnecessary checks and switch some numbers to values calculated on game load rather than per script instances.
      Improved heat detection script performance.
Critters (rabbits, deer, skyBirds, etc.) classed as EncClassAnimalPrey are now completely ignored.
Added an additional check to ensure the shelter detection feature was being dispelled properly.
Improved traveler classification to reduce the appearance of Survival Gear on NPCs near settlements.
  • Version 1.30

    • New feature, Soggy Feet: a light splat sound effect plays from each footstep when it's raining and for 10 seconds after swimming. Does not work on creatures.
Disabled Survival Gear on the Throat of the World and in all worldspaces other than Tamriel. Potential followers, which includes any stewards from Hearthfire, will no longer equip Survival Gear.
The snowy effect should now work in Morthal. The snowy effect for dead bodies should no longer be reapplied to actors who were already snowy when killed.
Improved cold region detection in Wyrmstooth. Snowy areas are cold 24/7. The rest of the island becomes cold at night.
      Added backpack compatibility for LimitedItems.
Fixed issue where the Ashes addon was not being recognized in 1.231 if both mods were not installed at the same time.

Thalmor and Thieves' Guild members are no longer affected by Go Home.
Fixed issue with NPCs getting stuck indoors.
      Further reduce papyrus log errors.
  • Version 1.21

    • Rain cloak equip chance now changes based on time of day and whether or not an NPC is a traveler.
Umbrellas disabled by default on new/clean saves. Snowshoes and umbrellas removed from container leveled lists.
The Wet and Cold Icicle (craftable at smelter with 1 ice wraith teeth), if held by an NPC, will now disable ALL equipment-related features for that particular NPC (similar to the Wet, Cold and Ashen Snowberries).
Reduced papyrus log errors. Reminder that unless you're getting continuous errors spammed throughout your entire log, there shouldn't be a problem.
Fixed issue with invisible objects sometimes appearing indoors.
      Minor script optimizations.
  • Version 1.20

    • Skyrim 1.9.29.0.8+ is now required.
Snowshoes added to Survival Gear courtesy of Omesean of Aesir Armor. Traveling NPCs in cold regions have a chance to equip them. They provide actors a 10% speed buff in the cold but a 20% speed debuff elsewhere.
Umbrellas added to Rain Gear courtesy of seanbonaker from Umbrella. Civilian NPCs in cities have a chance to equip them in place of hoods. Those equipped with umbrellas will not drip water (only works with my drip effect) and will not Go Home. Attempting to sprint with an umbrella causes a 30% movement speed debuff.
New leather knapsacks courtesy of drsoupiii from Knapsack Backpacks. All variations will auto-adjust to cloaks and can be equipped by NPCs as part of Survival Gear.
If Wet and Cold - Ashes is installed, NPCs may now also equip face covers as part of Cold Gear. Equip chance of face covers changes based on the time of day, weather conditions and if the NPC is a traveler.
Umbrellas and snowshoes have a small chance of appearing in household containers due to the difficulty in obtaining them without killing innocents. They were added to the leveled lists via scripting.
Survival Gear enabled for regions outside of Skyrim.
Added cold breath support for lurkers, werebears, boars and rieklings.
Update interval and shelter detection performance options added to the MCM. Survival Gear can now be configured further.
Dead bodies will now become covered in a light snowy effect regardless of whether it's snowing.
Warlocks and necromancers will no longer equip backpacks.
Reduced size of traveler cloaks for females.
Your rain friend has had his role expanded. Staying under shelter will now disable the blizzard blind effect and the strong winds debuff.
Fixed delay in recognizing interior/exterior after moving from interior to exterior.
Fixed issue with swimming effects lingering permanently.
      Script optimizations.
  • Version 1.13

    • Fixed bald vampire issue with one of the rain hoods.
    • Miraak cultists should no longer be affected by Go Home.
    • Removed save and reload requirement from the Ashes addon to help those who don't read stickies (and because it wasn't necessary anymore).

    • Minor modifications to the rain midget to ensure he cannot be seen or interacted with.

    • Added a black traveler fur cloak variation. Smaller female traveler fur cloaks coming with 1.14.
    • MCM layout modified. New options to configure Rain/Cold Gear and Performance exclusive to MCM users. Performance section will have more options in future updates.
    • Added support for Climates of Tamriel - Winter Edition. If this optional module is installed, all of Skyrim will be considered cold. If this module is uninstalled, WC will switch back to default settings automatically.
    • Important: Making a save indoors before updating to any version is now strongly recommended. This also applies to any addons.
  • Version 1.12

    • Improved shelter detection and weather blindness script performance.
    • Fixed issue with certain invisibility mods allowing your rain midget to become visible.
    • Blindness effects are now disabled while swimming.

    • Snowy now affects live creatures and will play during all snowy weather types.
    • Wet and Cold by default no longer supports Dragornborn. Wet and Cold - Ashes is now required for cold effects to work on Solstheim.

    • Fixed NPCs from equipping backpacks near the Riften docks.

    • Modified backpack meshes so that potions are affected by shaders. Thank you dogier. If you downloaded the optional opaque potion texture, you may delete it.

    • Added automatic compatibility settings if Frostfall is installed.
    • Fixed a small portion of guards from being affected by Go Home.
    • Dragonborn support. The northern half of Solstheim is considered cold.

    • Many small tweaks and fixes.
    • Revamped MCM layout and updated script to work with all revisions of SkyUI.
    • Fixed issue where NPCs got stuck with fur cloaks if they were using an idle marker. If you see an NPC stuck with a fur cloak just click on him/her in the console and type 'resurrect'.
    • Fixed drip effects from rain sometimes not playing on you and nearby actors.
    • Fixed NPCs not going home during the day if bad weather started at night and lasted through the next day.
    • Fixed breaths sometimes not dispelling if fast traveling in the tundra/marsh regions at night.
    • Fixed issue where some interior worldspaces were considered exteriors.
    • Fixed followers from deleting cloaks or fur hoods you gave them.
    • Fixed decapitation issue with fur hoods. The one rain hood variant with this issue has had its mesh submitted to the USKP for 1.2.7.
    • Fixed issue with invisible NPCs generating near or in your home. If you notice any, restart the mod through the options several times to remove them from your game.
    • Hostile enemies should no longer target the sky if they can't target you while it's raining.
    • NPCs will now only equip fur hoods in the tundra/marsh regions at night. It's cold but not cold enough for the cloaks and gloves.
    • Nords will now wear fur hoods regardless of time but will never wear cold gear in the tundra/marsh regions at night. This can be toggled in the Actors section of the options.
    • Followers can now be configured individually. If a Wet and/or Cold Snowberry is given to a follower, he/she will not equip rain gear and/or cold gear. These snowberries can be created at cooking pots with regular snowberries.
    • Follower settings will now apply to most followers.
    • Drip effects are now more visible.
    • Soul Cairn and Oblivion realms in general are no longer considered cold.
    • Larger breaths will now appear on attack swings, arrow releases and on magic casts.
    • Disabled breaths in all interiors and when near a heat source.
    • Increased breath transparency.
    • Added cold effects support for Wyrmstooth locations.
    • Added 3 fur cloak variations courtesy of lorelai2009 and Chesko. These do not require WIC to be installed but will be distributed along with WIC cloaks if WIC is installed.
    • Added rain gear support for all Cloaks of Skyrim plugins. If CoS is installed, NPCs will sometimes equip cloaks in addition to hoods when it starts raining.
    • Added cold gear support for all Winter Is Coming plugins. Use whichever you wish.
    • Snowy: Snow will accumulate on hair and armor during a blizzard. Moving near a heat source will cause the snow to melt away--even with dead bodies.
    • Survival Items: NPCs found outside of villages and cities will have backpacks equipped. Fur backpacks are more likely to be equipped in colder regions than leather backpacks.
  • Version 1.071

    • Followers weren't unequipping armored fur hoods. This has been fixed.
  • Version 1.07

    • General script optimizations.
    • Added compatibility for mods that modify the child races (killable children and Xvision Children are now compatible).
    • Added breath support for hagravens, huskies, Vale sabrecats, cows and werewolf transformations.
    • Added option to force workers to go home when it rains.
    • Added a wetness shader to the skin after swimming that lasts for 45 seconds.
    • NPCs will now auto unequip their fur cloaks while sitting and reequip after standing up. This is to prevent the horrible clipping that was hurting my eyes. Note: Using a crafting station is sometimes considered 'sitting' by the game.
    • NPCs wearing light or heavy armor will now have a chance of equipping armored fur hoods if the CRAFT plugin from Winter is Coming is installed.
    • Fixed MCM from resetting options to default if this mod is reconfigured by Frostfall 2.0.
    • Fixed issue with NPCs and followers equipping rain hoods from the wrong formlists again. Followers and non-civilians should not equip farmer-like hoods anymore.
    • Fixed issue where certain interiors would sometimes be treated as exteriors.
    • Rain drip drops are now slightly larger.
    • Cold gear and rain hoods for followers are now enabled by default.
    • Ghosts and familiars should no longer breathe.
    • Improved NPC equip speed so that NPCs are more likely to be properly equipped right after you leave an interior.

  • Version 1.06

    • Fixed not being able to toggle the Cloak Ability through MCM.
    • Fixed NPCs equipping hoods in interiors if entering and exiting a location multiple times.
    • Ghosts and familiars no longer drip water.
    • Humanoid nose breaths are now more transparent. Breaths now speed up while in combat or while running for all actors. Added breath support for dragons.
    • The Blades and government officials are now exempt from going home. Lowered go home quest priority so that NPCs are less likely to go home if a more important quest is running.
    • Added 1 additional rain hood variation and 2 fur hood variations. Civilian NPCs are now more likely to wear cloth rain hoods.
    • Added partial MCM localization support. Almost done!
    • Added Winter is Coming support. See the recommended mods section for instructions.
  • Version 1.05

    • Fixed issue with NPCs and followers equipping rain hoods from the wrong formlists.

    • Disabled nose breaths at night in tundra/marsh regions. Added breath support for non-vampiric falmer, werewolves, armored and unarmored trolls.
    • Non-hostile vampires will equip rain hoods and cold gear again. Racial preferences still apply.
  • Version 1.04

    • Nearby NPC effects are now refreshed on game load. Clean saves should no longer be needed. Fast traveling across the map after updating is recommended though.
    • Fixed drips not appearing if the player was moving for a period of time.
    • Increased mouth breath particle count and volume in snowy/coastal exteriors for humanoids. Cold interiors and night time tundra/marsh breaths remain the same.
    • Vampires no longer breathe. Reasoning: Since they are at least partially undead and do not show up with detect life their internal body temperatures are probably not high enough to hold moisture in their breaths (if they even have any).
    • Vampires no longer equip cold gear or rain hoods.
  • Version 1.03

    • Dripping wet no longer triggers a hit event. This means Requiem is now compatible.
    • Added Thalmor Embassy as a warm interior.
    • Breaths are now disabled while dead and while swimming.
    • Follower support for rain hoods and cold gear. These features are disabled by default. They will produce their own equipment.
    • Added breath support for bears and sabrecats.
  • Version 1.02

    • The tundra/Whiterun/marsh regions will now be considered cold enough at night to see breaths. NPCs will react accordingly.
    • Dripping wet should no longer cause your controller to rumble.
    • Breath effect now properly dispels in warmer regions.
    • A light sheen shader is now applied while swimming.
    • Behavior stuff should now properly ignore all beggars.
  • Version 1.01

    • Dead actors should no longer continue breathing.
    • Removed 'New alias' notification.

Submarines in the Soviet Navy were developed by numbered 'projects', which were sometimes but not always given names. During theCold War, NATO nations referred to these classes by NATO reporting names, based on intelligence data, which did not always correspond perfectly with the projects. See:

The NATO reporting names were based on the British (and later American) habit of naming submarines with a letter of the alphabet indicating the class, followed by a serial number of that class. The names are the radiotelephonic alphabet call sign of a letter of the alphabet. For security purposes, the 'pennant numbers' of Soviet submarines were not sequential, any more than those of Soviet surface vessels were.

Most Russian (and Soviet) submarines had no 'personal' name, but were only known by a number, prefixed by letters identifying the boat's type at a higher level than her class. Those letters included:

Any of those prefixes could have С (S) added to the end, standing for специальная (spetsialnaya) and meaning 'designed for special missions':

  • New weapon, engines and armament testing
  • Submarines for long-range radio communications
  • Target submarines for anti-submarine training
  • Rescue service submarines
  • Covert operations
